Requirements for applicants:

Doctoral researchers (category 20) shall be enrolled in a doctoral programme at university.

Post-doctoral researchers (category 30) must have a PhD or have a minimum of 5 years research experience after the first university degree giving access to doctoral studies. Candidates who have not yet completed all the formalities to obtain a PhD or who have not yet attained 5 years of research experience on the date of application may also be considered as eligible to apply. However, the required educational and professional qualifications must be met before the signature of the grantholder contract.

Senior scientists (category 40) shall have a minimum of ten years research experience at post-doctoral level, or a minimum of fifteen years research experience at post university level. Candidates who have not reached the 10 years of research experience at post-doctoral level or the 15 years of research experience after the first university degree on the date of application may also be considered as eligible to apply. However, the required educational and professional qualifications must be met before the signature of the grantholder contract.

Duration: The minimum duration of the research project shall be one year and the maximum thirty-six months for Phd students and post - doctoral researchers. For senior researchers, the minimum duration of the research project shall be three month and the maximum twenty-four months.
